This year, as every year at the Mobile World Congress. The Global Mobile Awards were held: a jury of 150 people, consisting of analysts and other journalists (among others), recognizes products that have marked the past year. This 19th edition has rewarded companies, products and applications that have marked the year 2013.
GMA have many categories, some more or less obscure to the general public. Let us focus on the most significant.
The prize for best smartphone of 2013 returns to the famous One (HTC): flawless finish, innovative hardware which makes the difference in the park of Android's mobile , we're not too surprised, even if the other nominees in the category (iPhone 5s, the LG G2, the Nokia 1020 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3) does not demerit.
Then, the best tablet of 2013, and I think we all have the same in our mind: Air Apple iPad. Before the Mini Retina iPad, Google Nexus 7 (2013 edition) and Sony Xperia Tablet, the manufacturing quality of the iPad Air, and the ecosystem that offers iOS have had the favor of the jury this year.
LG has seen his audacity rewarded with the title of the most innovative company of the year thanks to the marketing of products with flexible screen (TV and smartphone).
Level mobile application, Device 6 was elected best application in the entertainment category (games, music, sports, video). Citymapper received the title of the best application for all categories. Finally CamME was voted the most innovative application.
Note that Samsung has not seen any of his products released in 2013 rewarded. However, the Gear Fit received the award for the best new showcased at MWC.
